How Pet Sitting Works

No Place Like Home Pet Sitting was established in 1995 by Patti Castleberry. After years in the "corporate trenches", she decided to fulfill a lifelong dream – working with animals. Patti and her husband, Scott, had fostered homeless animals for the Carrollton Humane Society for several years. Through this work with scared, and sometimes abused dogs and cats, Patti learned how to "talk" to them, how to make them feel safe and secure. Starting a pet care service specifically designed to keep pets in their own home was the natural next step.

Patti & Scott currently share their house with their adopted dogs, Magic, ShyAnne, and Paisley and WAY too many cats to name. They also foster for Lone Star Lab Rescue, so there are always a couple of "temporary" dogs around, as well.
